The Canonry Benefice is a united benefice formed in 2012 within the East Bridge Deanery of the Diocese of Canterbury. The parishes of the Canonry Benefice cluster around two units namely Ash, together with Chillenden and Goodnestone, and Wingham, together with Elmstone, Preston and Stourmouth.
The full-time priest in charge, Revd David Moulden, is based at Ash; the part-time associate priest, Revd Chris Brewer, is based at Wingham. The priests are supported by lay persons, authorised ministers and a benefice administrator.
