There are five schools in the Canonry Benefice.
Ash - Cartwright and Kelsey CE Aided Primary School is set in the heart of the rural village of Ash. With easy access to Canterbury, Thanet and Sandwich the school currently has eight classes including a Nursery Class which also offers childcare provision. There is a well-established Breakfast and After School child care and a strong set of extra-curricular after school clubs. Nonington - Nonington Church of England Primary School, federated with Goodnestone Primary school, has a long history and has been operating as a school since the reign of Queen Victoria. Preston - Preston Primary School is a small rural school set in the village of Preston near Wingham. The school has 5 classes with 2 year groups in 4 of the classes and year 6 in a class on their own.
